The Market & Product Development Manager Yarns is coordinating and leading Business and products development, based upon knowledge of the market in general and the specific input from customers, prospects and OEM. All actions are focused on sustainable increase of future turnover and EBITDA.

  • Main responsibilities

  • Perform research and analysis into our strategic Markets segments to understand market specification, trends, and detect potential commercial opportunities
  • Specify market requirements by conducting market research supported by regular visits to OEM, customers, prospect, industry players, architects…
  • Develop network at Tiers1, OEM for Automotive market and major architects for Contracts segment
  • Analyze potential opportunities for new products and/or evolutions in existing product portfolio.
  • Take the lead for diversifying existing product portfolio in order to guarantee broader application possibilities (segment and region).
  • Develop contact with decision makers in the strategic market segments, with external industry experts in order to anticipate changes, new developments and trends in the sector
  • Assists Sales director in formulating the division Sales strategy.
  • Defines target segments for development of existing product portfolio and innovation.
  • Participate to the key accounts strategy
  • Assists sales through technical and development advice towards customers and prospects.
  • Actively participate to the go-to-market strategy and to help Sales team understand the product positioning, the key benefits and the target customers.
  • Helps achieving a Vitality Index of + 30% (high innovative content).

  • Ensures proper reporting through:

  • Product market matrix - P/L analysis on full product portfolio
  • Product management sheets & Roadmap


  • At least Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the industry (B2B)
  • Technical, engineering or business background.
  • Experience at Yarns industry is a plus
